Can I pick up the DDE when I get there?

I just found out it takes 3-6 weeks to get the card and our trip is in 2 weeks.

What is the cost for AP's?

Cost of DDE membership for one year for AP holders is $65. There is an extra charge for a second card.

They let you pick up a temporary card. The pickup was at Epcot Guest Services outside the park. There's now the ability to buy it at Guest Services in any park, I don't know if someone who has already signed up can pick up a card or a temporary card at any Guest Services. Best thing to do is call DDE and ask for current policy.

Here's a question that I need an answer for. We will be getting to WDW on a Sun and will be getting our APs that day at EPCOT Guest Services and if we sign up and pay for the DDE there can we get a temp card immediately to eat at a DDE restaurant that night or would we have to wait till Mon to get the temp card at EPCOT Guest Services.

I called a few weeks ago to purchase my DDE card so I would have it for my 1/6 trip. The DDE operator actually encouraged me not to buy it over the phone, but instead to buy it at guest services when I get there. I have a reservation at Biergarten as soon as I get there, and she said I would have no problem just walking up to the guest services window with my AP voucher and getting my actual AP and my purchasing my DDE card at the same time.

I thought it was funny . . . calling to buy something over the phone and being encouraged not to!
