can I paint over tile?

Yep LOL I am in cleaning mode! I have tile for backsplash in the kitchen. Not a lot but it is ugly as heck and I am so over it. Can I paint over it? Any ideas on how to make it over without redoing it?

You can paint over it but you have to use a special primer first that is made for tiles.
