Can I merge 2 reservations that span 2 use years?

DEC UY. I want to reserve 11/30-12/4. I don't have enough 2020 UY pts so I can reserve 11/30-12/3 and then use my DEC 2021 UY pts to reserve the last night in DEC, but I dont want to check out and check into another room. Would Disney merge this type of reservation?

With a December UY, your reservation using 2020 points would actually be 11/30-12/01. You would then need to bank any leftover 2020 points into your Dec 2021 UY and book 12/01-12/04. That reservation would use all banked points first and then your 2021 points.

Member Services can make both of those reservations and take care of banking your points in order to do it. They can even merge them into a single reservation that spans your UY.

I have a HHI stay from Feb 28 through March 4 2021 and I have a March UY. I could not merge them into one reservation, but MS did!
