Can I make the 10am FOTLK show with a 9:05 Tusker House ADR?

We have a 9:05 Tusker House ADR and in all touring plans I try to put together, it makes the most sense to see the 10am FOTLK. Can we make that or is that not giving us enough time for the character breakfast?

Could we try arriving to the ADR fifteen minutes early?

1. Too tight to really enjoy the food and the characters. You'd want to be entering FoLK by 9:50-ish.
It would be possible to "rush" the breakfast & character experience and make the show.
(If you do that, be sure and ask for your BILL as soon as you're seated and settle-up during the meal.)

2. Couldn't hurt, but at that time of day, it likely wouldn't get you started very much earlier.

I'd do a snack breakfast, and see the 10AM FoLK...
or do the ADR and see a later FoLK show, maybe with a FP.

Keep in mind that a 9:05 ADR won't necessarily get you seated at 9:05. While they try as best they can, it could still very well end up being 9:15, 9:20, etc. so you need to allow wiggle room.

What about the opposite . . . can I make a 11:30 Tusker House if we go to the 11 FOTLK? They seem to be close to one another.

This would still a little tight, but probably better than your first scenario. Why don't you keep the 9:05 ADR and do the 11:00 FOTLK?

I don't think you'd have enough time. I want to try and make the noon showing of FOTLK and am thinking we might not have enough time with a 10:15 ADR.

The show is half an hour long and it can take time getting out of the theater, I would try 11:45 or later if you decide to eat after the show.

My hope is to do four things at AK -- Tusker House, Safari, FOTLK and Nemo -- in half a day. We'll have our two year old twins with with us so ideally we'd be leaving for naps by 12:30/1.

Any itinerary suggestions? Right now I have a 9:05 and 11:30 ADR at Tusker.

Fyi....I had 5 character meals last week. Had to wait about 40 mins at Ohana, but got into the others (Crystal Palace, Hollywood n Vine, Tusker House and Akershus) within 10 mins of scheduled time. Ohana we got thru breakfast in about 50 mins once seated. But Tusker House was more like 1 HR 20 mins. Goofy left the room just as we were getting seated and didn't come back until well after we were done eating.

I would keep the 9:05 ressie and try to get there a little early and keep fingers crossed yours goes more quickly than mine. =) Then have safari FP set up for 10-11. Go there after breakfast. Fyi...I think safari is 17 mins long so probably at least 20 mins to then hit 11 Fotlk and then hit 12:30 Nemo (I think Nemo is scheduled on the 1/2 hours but not positive). It will be tight for sure but even if you don't get out of TH until 10:20, it's still doable. If you get out early, you might have time to see some of Pagani trail which is close to safari.

If you can change your ressie to 9:30, you could get safari done first, go have breakfast and then get the next lion king and then head over to Nemo.

If you keep the 10:30 ressie, you can still get safari done first, but both shows would have to be after. So you'd probably be looking at 12 Fotlk and 1:30 nemo.

Fyi - they will let you enter Fotlk a little late. Did this last week. I think we showed up about 12:02.....there are a few mins of talking that we missed ,but not what I would consider actual show. Just telling you this in case you are just running a few mins behind.

Eta: shoot - just realized you said the other ressie was at 11:30 not 10:30 and I think now nemo is on the hour starting at 11. So with that being said if you kept 11:30 ressie, you can still get safari and 10:00 Fotlk before breakfast and then shoot for 1 nemo. You could maybe get to park around 9:30 and head straight to 10 Fotlk and then do safari after the show and still get to TH on time.

I wouldn't try to rush the breakfast at Tusker. We've done an 8:00 ADR and felt rushed trying to beat everyone that was going to safari at rope drop. With 2yo twins, I also wouldn't try to make both shows. The Nemo show is 40 minutes long and was very hard for my 3yo to sit thru. You may want to try to do the wildlife express train ride instead. This will be right by safari/Tusker House/Lion King, and I bet the kids would enjoy a short train ride and then petting the animals.
