Can I make an ADR for Cali just for dessert?

DH has a convention at the CR at the end of March and its just going to be the two of us! He isn't a big fan of fusion cooking, more of a meat and potatoes kind of guy, but I have always wanted to see Wishes from the CG. Can I just make ressies for dessert and drinks so that I could see it from there? Do I need to tell them that when I make the ADR?

There's no LAW that says that you have to eat a meal BUT ...

you are taking up a table and a server will be losing tips based on your order.

If you decide to do it, I wouldn't tell in advance, and I would probably give the server a giant tip to make up for your less than steller tab. If it was me I would probably give him $20 when I placed my order!
