Can I link my ressies when I arrive?

I have a six-day ressie plus one day at the end that's the same room type, but a different res number. I know I need to link them, but that seems to take so much time with MS. It's especially true because we have 8 people, and I know all the names have to match exactly (i.e., all spelled right, which always seems to be a problem for me). Is it quicker, or even possible, to link them when I arrive to check in?

I don't think I would wait and do it then. If it is done before hand, when they assign your room, they are expecting you to stay the entire time.

If you wait until check in, there could be issues and it is even possible that the front desk won't be able to do that for you anyway.

If your extra night was filled by a wait list, my understanding is that MS automatically links them to the original one.

We have linked reservations before and it never took any time to do it. Seems like just a couple of clicks. I agree, by not linking them prior, you risk being moved to a different room later in your trip. The last time I called to link my reservations after a waitlist came through, the CM said, "It's already done." Seems they did it before I even asked them to do it.

Ditto with us.
I had a 3 day reservation and which I waitlisted to add a 4th day and then a 5th resulting in 3 reservation numbers. They were automatically linked (although I did call to confirm)

I would link them before arrival. You can accomplish this with a email form on the Member website. They will email back when it's done.

I'd link ahead of time. I've had MS put me on hold when they do it if it's a few people on the reservation but I'd hardly consider it difficult. Better to do that than tie up a clerk at check in.
