Can I leave a Park and Return?

If I don't have park hoppers can I leave Magic Kingdom for lunch and than return later that day? Will I just swipe my room key again?

Yes, with the base ticket, you can leave and return to the same park on the same day. Just swipe your ticket at the gate when you return (hand stamps are no longer required with the new biometric scanning).

Thanks. I wasn't sure since last time we went we never ended up leaving the park.

Sure, no problem. They used to stamp your hand as you left, but they don't bother any more since all tickets require you to use the biometric finger scan.

If you have the hopper option, you could leave and return to a different park than where you started. If you don't have the hopper option, then you can only return to the park where you started. Either way, you can leave and go back as many times during the day a you want.
