Can I just say...

That we arrive in WDW in 13 days. YAAY!!
But...we aren't staying at FW. For the first time (other than a quick one nighter in March) ever, we are staying at a hotel. DH and I were talking yesterday and discussing all of the things that will seem weird about the trip because of this change.
#1 on my list...and I honestly teared up when I said this...is the thing that always makes me feel like I'm at Disney. It's not driving under the arch. For me, it's hearing the horn on the MK ferry for the first time while we are getting the camper set up. That sound evokes some serious emotion for me...

We are doing a dining plan for the first time. I wanted to book HDDR but DH said no because it would make him mad to go to FW. Haha.

We will be back at FW for our first Christmas at Disney. December can't get here fast enough!!

I understand the yearning for The Fort.
However, I stayed at the Poly a few years ago with friends and family,
And we had a great time. Yes, it was different, but a good time all the same.
And, you can always go back home(Fort Wilderness).

2goofy - great idea, thanks! I will definitely do that. And lesson learned from my last TR, I will do them in Word and copy/paste into the boards.
ynot - I love those sounds. Gonna miss it this trip!!
lucky - thanks for the "encouragement". Haha. I am sure that we'll enjoy doing something different....and will certainly look forward to "going home".

I know exactly how you feel. Part of me is excited to be staying someplace new but another part of me is upset because Im going to be missing the Fort. I already have 2 nights planned that Im going to be at the Chip and Dale Campfire/Movie lol
