that I HATE job interviews. I never appear to my best advantage. That's all, vent over, thank you for listening.

I hate them too! I always say the stupidest things!

On the final interview for my current job, my manager asked me, "What do you think will be the worst part of THIS job?" She had been asking me questions about my CURRENT job, and I thought she had said, "What do you think is the worst part of YOUR job?"

I answered, "My managers."

They stared at me for a moment, and I figured out my mistake.

i'm SO sick of interviewing! i always say something stupid.

I'm usually the one conducting the interviews and I don't like them either.

My favorite stupid answer of all time is when I commented that the position required long hours and I asked the candidate if that would be a problem for her and she answered me:

"Well, I have a boat".

The questions I hate the most are "what do you think is your worst quality?" and "where do you see yourself in 5 years?" especially for a job that is only temporary! How the heck do I know what will happen in 5 years?

I hate them, too. I generally make a good impression, but it is so hard to figure out how to develop a good rapport with people you have just met and are trying to impress.

And, really, some of the questions are plain stupid.

It's been 20 years since I've had to interview for a job. It is so nerve-wracking, I spend 1/2 the time trying to figure out what they want to hear. Then afterwords replay it over and over again in my head and pick it all apart. UGH.
