Thanks again everyone. I am not looking forward to tomorrow. I've been asked to move my stuff out of her place. I'm going to go with the grab and go theory, and be there for as little time as possible. Luckily Thanksgiving was never a favorite holiday (My Grandpa had a fatal heart attack years ago on the night before). Sadly Christmas was/is my favorite holiday, and I am not looking forward to it.

I feel for you, my partner and I went through a seperation during the holiday's once, it was very rough. No one can express how you feel, but yourself, but you know you have a group of people that care for you in the virtual as well as the real world.

I don't know what you do for a living, but maybe this is a good time to look to a local foodbank or other community organization to volunteer for during this season. It would be a great way to make a difference in other's lives while allowing you to make new friends; healing in a controlled way.

I am leaving Friday (driving) and will be at SSR the 30th-3rd. From the 3rd - ? I will be doing some wildlife photography in Florida. I am going with my Mom and she needs to be back and in Bloomfield on the 10th.

Doing some volunteer work is a good idea. I am keeping mind and body busy as a coping mechanism. Luckily I have a very supportive and close family, who will make it that much easier for me.

I moved all my stuff out today, thought it went well all things considered, but then I got home and saw what she posted on Facebook. I'm wiped out, but not feeling overly bad. Its getting a bit easier everyday. I wish her no ill will. DooDoo happens.

Actually my Mom and I are both in Verona. Mom grew up in Bloomfield and her sister (My Aunt) still lives there. Mom is doing some bus trip thing into the City with my Aunt on the 10th.

I'm sorry to hear about that. It happened to me before(although it was a relatively short relationship in comparison with yours) and mine occured on december 18th.... Very close to Christmas. I hear where you're coming from. You need a great big hug

Well I'm at WDW, it is very bittersweet. I found myself picking up things last night in the MK saying, "let me buy this for" then rembering there is no reason to buy it. Otherwise I am coping and taking one day at a time.

Ohhh, heartbreaking. My heart goes out to you both. There is never a good time to break up, but the holidays just seems to amplify all our emotions. The BEST medicine of course, is some Disney MAGIC!! I wish you a lovely trip, filled with much love & healing....leave all your problems & worries at the gate, and let the MAGIC do the rest!

This past trip was my first post-separation trip. I kinda dreaded it in many ways, but it was fabulous and just as magical, maybe more.

Its hard moving forward.... trust me, I know. If you need an ear just yell. I am sorry it didn't work as you had hoped.
