I was baby-sitting my 4 year old niece this weekend so that my sister and BIL can go away for their anniversary. Well, this morning, my lovely sweet 5 year old daughter decided to give her cousin a haircut.

DD is in an indefinite timeout.

ouchy.. dw's older daughter did that to our little girl a feww days befdore our wedding,, how bad is it? can it be salvaged? GI Jane? definately a moment to inspire locking one self in the closet. have you told sis yet? warn her before she sees dd,

and you might want to sneak in an extra gift or two depend ing on how bad the haircut is.

It's not bad. Just looks like my niece has some long layers in the back now. I did warn my sister.

My dd decided to cut her ponytail right before she was flower girl in my sisters wedding, Luckily she only got half way through the ponytail before she was caughtby dh. The worst part of it was she was sitting right next to dh when she did it. I was at work.

Well, at least hair grows back. But yeah, I'd be putting my kid in an indefinate time out for that too.
