We want to have diner at Beaches and Cream our first night on our upcoming trip. There are 4 of us that night.

What's the best time to go to avoid a monster wait? How long was the actual vs expected wait for a group of 4 or less?

We've only done lunch there and had ~20 minute waits which were very manageable.

TIA :goodvibes

Depends on when you go, but the earlier the better. Also, if you are flexible and willing to sit at the counter, this can really shorten your wait. We eat at beaches and cream about once a month, and we always sit at the counter. Granted there are only 2 of us, so its probably easier, but this usually helps cut the time down big time. In fact, the only time I remember waiting more than 15 minutes or so, was when we took my parents and we needed a table. Otherwise if you get there and it is like an hour, at least the game room is right there to help pass the time with a game of air hockey:thumbsup2

We went down at 4:30 when we were there in August and were seated without a wait. A bit early for dinner, but we planned a light lunch knowing we were doing this.

Thanks, we might do the counter. How accurate are the wait times you're quoted when you walk-up.

Is there an "adult beverage" place near by to wait in while we send the kids to the game room? ;)

I have always found them to be pretty accurate. In fact most times we are seated a little before the amount of time they told us....

You could walk into the lobby enterance next to B&C and grab a drink at Marthas Vinyard, which I'm sure they would put in a plastic cup to take with you. Its just a few steps from B&C next to Ariels...
