I apologize if this was covered. I'm still fairly new to the disboards and WDW vacations as we've only been on one which was last month.

We are going Jan 16-22nd.

We have 5 nights,6 day parkhoppers and quick service dining.

Poly is 3226.94 through AAA and 3533.00 through Disney.

Wilderness Lodge is 2677.10 through AAA and 2886.00 through Disney.

Are those decent discounts? Will there be a better one for January?

I'm currently booked through Disney at WL but was going to cancel and go through AAA. I'm still un decided on Poly or WL.

I'm just looking for opinions to see if I'm getting a deal or not.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.

any discounts are a good one,
you can go to mouse savers and see the history of disney discounts
but if you change to AAA and a better one comes out they can change the code to give you a better deal as well!
have a magical trip:surfweb:

I was in the exact same boat and ended up going with the AAA TA instead of Disney. My TA told me today that she would apply another code if the discount was better. I also went back and forth between Poly and WL and ended up at WL because I was able to get the bunkbed room at the AAA discount (originally they were unavailabe at the discount). We are going a week earlier...11-16 4 day base woodsview and basic dining $2772 if I upgrade to the hopping it will be $2985 with basic dining. Are you doing std rooms?

go with AAA, like the others said if another discount comes out they will adjust the price. I just received a discount code for October and called AAA to check it out, they did and I saved another $65 (5%) to the already 15% off with AAA. every little bit helps. as for the other question about the resort both are great choices! good luck :lmao: :)

I just booked at CSR with AAA for Oct at $157.79, tax included. Beats the regular rate of 185.63 we had to begin with.

I usually get a AAA rate, but I book directly with Disney. If available, Disney will give you the AAA rate.

For example, I have a campsite at FW for March. Shortly after the 2009 rates were released, the AAA discount became available. I called Disney and asked them to apply the AAA rate ... resulting in 15% savings.

You don't need a "middle man" to get a AAA discount.

You do need the "middle man" if, like the OP, you want a dining plan and the AAA rate. That's a AAA package that you cannot book through Disney.
