Ok, so looking for rates online and having trouble searching because the big sites don't seem to offer one way rental as an option or they don't recognize Alamo and national go to the car card center. Tis is the plan..
We are coming from another part of the trip in ft Lauderdale so flying there. Sunday November 10 we head up to Orlando. We will not have our own rental car in ft l, so we will pick one up that morning. Driving up to Orlando the orig. plan was to drop off at Mao and take the ME but someone mentioned car care center since this is a short vacation and the kids will be nuts. (Less time on bus). Staying at AoA.
Between the drive we want to stop to see great grandma at her home in Orlando, but if the price isn't too different we can visit the next day which is not a park day, then return the car the afternoon of the 11th.
Right now I have my daughter home and can't make calls about this for info, I just wanted to get an idea of the rates for the whole one way drop off thing.....should I look at other options? I read e recent post about using the national desk at the dolphin, that's something I can look at too. I have to do whatever is cheapest, but the entire wow part of this is 3 days so I don't want to waste valuable time. My husband is fine being the one to drop the car off and whatnot....ot dragging the kids.
