Even if you can't afford a regular wedding cake, you can make up something beautiful - here's the idea: try to borrow some tiered cake stands, hopefully in at least two sizes and top it off with a small footed candy dish. Then bake up some cupcakes in white or silver paper cups, ice them in a pretty white or pastel frosting, decorate with pink/white sprinkles or sugar sprinkles or silver dragees, and place them on the tiered plate. Decorate in between the cupcakes with some fresh flowers. rose buds, baby's breath, leaves and voila, a wedding cake. Very fashionable in the bridal magazines lately to have cupcakes and you can do an assortment of flavor or just plain white cake!!!!!
