Can I get from the Luau to MK for Spectromagic?

We have a 5:15 PS. I am hoping that we can hop on the Monorail and make it to Spectromagic. The parade only occurs 1 night during our stay and I would love for the kids to see it.

MK is only a 5 minute monorail ride away. But how long is the luau and what time does Spectro start? If you have 30-45 minutes in between, I don't think you'll have a problem. You can also take the boat to MK from the Polynesian, too.

I would suggest not taking the resort monorail...you can walk to the TTC from the edge of Poly...I would take the TTC monorail - will not make all the lengthy stops at the resorts...

scanne: We have stayed at the Poly but never attended the Luau. I guess I should be more specific with my question....how long is the Luau? The parade starts at 8 pm.

las3888: That is a great idea. The only problem I see is trying to get our stuffed bodies to waddle through the Poly grounds

I think there is another show after the 5:15 one...so you should have time to make it to the MK. I don't think taking the resort monorail will delay you. It only stops at the GF after the Polynesian, then you're at the MK. Also, it would take 5-10 minutes to walk from the Luau (closer to the GF) than to the TTc which is all the way on the other side of the Polynesian. You're better off taking the boat or the resort monorail. JMHO.

hi, we also have ressies at 5:15 and i asked how long the luau lasted and they told me approximately 1 hour and 45 mins i hope this helps.
