Can I get from Blizzard Beach from MGM?

We are going in May and want to spend a morning at the Studios followed by BB. We are staying at the GF and I don't want to go on a bus back to the hotel and then get on another bus to Blizzard Beach. I thought that if there was a way to get from BB easily from the Studios, we could bring a bag with suits and towels and just go the water park directly. Can that be done? Alternatively, how much would a cab cost and is it easy to get a cab at a park???

Not sure about a direct bus from the Studios, but you could walk/boat over to the Boardwalk from the Studios, then take a direct bus to Blizzard Beach from there.

Yes, it would quite easy to get a cab from the Studios.

A cab would probably cost about $10 plus tip.

If you take the AKL bus from MGM, I believe it stops at BB on the way to AKL.

I'd suggest the boat (or walk) from MGM to Dolphin/Swan and then the bus to Blizzard Beach. The boat makes several stops from MGM (Swan/Dolphin, then YC/BC, then Boardwalk) so I think your best bet would be to get off at S/D.
