Can I get feedback on our planned ADRs (Dec. trip)?

Ok, my ADR call date is Tuesday (6/24)--we check in on 12/21 in the morning.

Here's our tentative plan for ADR's:
12/21 Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner (open to any time)

12/22 Crystal Palace for either lunch or dinner (again, open to any time)

12/23 Hollywood & Vine for the Fantasmic Dinner package (so ressies in the 4-ish time range) -- the dinner package is not a *MUST* but H&V *is*, lol.

12/24 Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL for dinner (after 7pm is preferred)

12/25 -Princess Storybook Lunch at Akershus (any time during the lunch hours is good)

-Le Cellier for dinner (any time is good)

12/26 Cape May Cafe for dinner (any time is good for us)

12/27 Teppan Edo for lunch or dinner (whichever is available first)

12/28 Mama Melrose's (any time, lunch or dinner, if dinner--Fantasmic Pkg)

12/29 1900 Park Faire at GF for dinner (any time OK)

As you can see, we are pretty flexible about times, but the ressies we want to make each day are tied into the park we plan to be at, except for WCC (we'll be at AK that day).

Do you all have any suggestions for changing things or advice for me? It's our second trip to WDW and the first time we only had one ADR during the whole trip (CRT for dinner). Winging it worked pretty well, but we were not on the dining plan during that trip and we WILL be this time.

Thanks for looking! :worship:

When our family uses the DDP, I usually use TS for dinner and CS for lunch. This way our biggest meal is at the end of the day. Also, using CS for lunch takes less time away from the parks. Whereas a TS meal usually takes up at least 1 - 1.5 hours of prime park time.

Wow, looks great to me! In fact, your ADR's are almost identical to the ADR's we want for the Grand Gathering I'm planning for next year!

As far as advice: We've used the DDP several times now, and really enjoy it. You definitely will get more "value" out of it, monetarily at least, by using your TS credits for dinners. (We tend to value the convenience of the DDP more, and don't usually take that into account, but for some people, they enjoy getting the absolute most for their money.)
Also, I agree with the previous poster about TS's at lunch taking away prime park time. The only way I could see TS lunches being better is if you have little ones and plan to take a break in the middle of the day-if so, a TS lunch could be a good way to start winding down for your break. This is what we plan to do every other day when we go with our GG next year. :thumbsup2

If you can't get Le Cellier, try for Coral Reef. That's the only restaurant that I feel is missing from your list. If you can get Le Cellier, good for you! You don't need to make your ressies in date order....try and get Le Cellier and your Fantasmic dinners situated first...these are some of the first to go. LTT and CP would be the ADR's I'd make next. Good luck tomorrow with your ADR's!

Thank you all for the feedback!

I think we are going to replace one of our meals with Coral Reef--I've been wavering on that one and I think we'd really love it! I'll probably replace Teppan Edo with Coral Reef.

We love Japanese food, but we have a local place that is incredible and authentic! Plus they put on a "show" like the chefs at Teppan Edo do.

The only TS we are set on having for lunch is the PSB at Akershus on Christmas Day. DD doesn't *love* Cinderella (plus we don't want to go to MK on Christmas Day), so this is our princess meal of choice. Other than that, we are just hoping to get a ressie at each restaurant on the day listed--no matter the time, kwim?

Seriously, thank you all so much for the advice! The DIS ROCKS!!!!:worship: :disrocks:

I would book Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge instead of WCC. It is a great meal and super easy to get to from the park.

we loved WCC, Crystal Palace and the characters are great at LTT (didn't love the food, just average). We do enjoy late dinners the most.

I would not bother with Mama Melroses. The food and service were not great there.

We went to PSB 2 weeks ago and Cinderella was there. Snow white wasn't (DNiece was dressed in her Snow White Dress:rotfl: wouldn'tyaknowit!)
But we just walked over the Germany and found her 5 minutes after we left lunch.

We loved the lunch-DH loved the Chicken and they served SIL a "kids choice" in adult-sized portion. :thumbsup2
It always is a great time. Even Dd and her BFF(both11) loved watching our niece(4) meet the princesses. Best of luck with the ADR's

Our family loves Mama Melrose's. We've been there twice on the Fantasmic Dinner package and the food has been wonderful.

I vote to keep Mama Melrose on your list.
