Just wondering if it's just as easy to buy the mears shuttle ticket at the airport, or is there a cheaper or easier way to buy it?

Very simple to buy the tickets at the airport. Just go downstairs to the rental car level and you will see signs pointing the way.

You can buy one way or round trip. I think you save $5 by buying a r/t ticket.
