Can I Get A Good Rate At Last Minute

I will be at WDW, and have a week reserved at the Vistana Villages Resort. But I believe we will need a place to stay for one night (Thursday night) in late March. If I wait until the day before, is there a chance I could get a really good rate at a Disney Resort, like CBR ??? I didn't know if Disney Resorts get cancellations, and to book the rooms, they give lower rates. I checked on the Swan/Dolphin for the "Nurses" rate, and they had no availability for that promo. Are there any "codes" out there for March, or are those only offered at slower times? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

before you could they have a place in Ocala - that had last minute discounts.

but they closed it a while ago.

they get discounts, so do annual pass holders...

My suggestion would be to join AAA, if you aren't already a member, they can save you money....

I wouldn't wait until the day before. Call every day until you get a rate you like. It still might not appear, but at least you tried. It's not likely to happen the day before any more than today or the next day.
