He hasn't used one at home in a few years, but I know his little legs won't make it far in the parks. I hear the strollers are quite large. Any advice?

Hi!

He will be fine in a stroller. In 2003 my then, DS2, DS5, DS7 were all pooped and I brought our Umbrella Stroller for the 2 year old and rented the Double Park Stroller for the two older boys and they were fine. I'm planning to do the same this year and they are now DS4, DS6 (turning 7 @ WDW) & DS9.

Our children are 4 and 6. The 6 year old is over 4 ft. tall and we still use our double stroller. It makes it more enjoyable for everyone. There is enough walking and standing in lines, at rides, that getting from one ride to another doesn't have to be a REAL chore. They walk slower than we can push, so in the end we get to see more!

Funny story, I saw an adult taking an afternoon nap in a double stroller @ WDW one time. Boy those strollers can handle a lot! Of course, no one was pushing the stroller - it was parked. The person's legs were obviously too long. I just had to laugh when I saw that though.

He will fit fine and you will all have a much better time if he isn't tired.

Oh, yea, a four year old will fit fine ina stroller. I had my 7 year old and then 18 month old in one. I saw several familes fit three kids on a double stroller. Another thing about the strollers you rent...they push like a dream! They push so easy. I really thought having about 90 pounds worth of kids in there would be difficult to push, but I was plesantly surprised.

Hooray! :teeth: My boy gets tired walking through the mall.

Hey not so funny!! I've actually done that, LOL!! I was about 7 months pregnant with my now 5 month old, and while my 3 yr old and his Dad were riding Thunder Mountain Mommy took a break in the stroller. Ended up falling asleep in there until they came out and woke me up!! If it can handle me at nearly 200 lbs I think it can easily handle a four year old!!

We fit our six year old and three year old in the double. They are quite large and sturdy (the strollers not the kids). We piled a lot of stuff on and in them. They are very easy to control.

Funny note... My (then 12yo) sister was with us last time and she took a break in the stroller too! :goodvibes

She said it was comfy but a little harder for me to push!

We've actually put our just turned 11 (you read that right!) year old in one of the double strollers. She was fine with it and so were we. Otherwise, she just didn't have the stamina to make it day after long day in the parks. We even called it something funny...I think it was TTV...the tweenager transportation vehicle! Worked for us.

We saw a mom being pushed in a stroller by a dad and son. She was squshed, but she fit. It looked really strange, but they were having fun.
