Can I expect to find a discount for May 2008?

I know all there is to know about booking a Disney vacation, but I don't know anything about staying onsite at Universal. What kinds of deals might I be able to find for May? I have AAA....is it a standard discount across the board with my membership? The only other discounts I've read about are with APs which I don't want to purchase. I'm lost!

AAA is the common discount, along w/ the AP, Fl resident and SuperSaver (offered at their website). You can book your room now, and switch it to AAA rate when they come out.

They say 20% off w/ AAA, but I could never figure it that way? (Most use AAA tho)

That's a great deal. I have a slight problem with paying full price for anything which I why I spend so much time on these boards. Even if it's close but not quite 20% that's a great savings. Thanks again for the info!

It's usually 20% off with AAA, but can be as low as 10% off at HRH at times. I think I only had 10% at HRH in the beginning of May this year with AAA, then switched to 20% off with the Super Saver rate at HRH. Went from $242.10 to $215/night for standard room.
