can I drop off instead of park?

I've only been to IOA and US a few times but I've always parked. This time I plan on dropping off my DH and oldest son so I can keep the car then I'd come back to get them. Is that possible? I'm assuming so. And where do you do it? Specifically I'm looking at IOA because that's where they are going this time.

DUDE! I just bought a GPS for my BD specifically w/ our Disney trip in mind. You rule!

OK. So I went and looked in Google maps. So is that just the side of the road you go to and that little walkways will go along side the restaurants there and zip, there you are? I couldn't tell but I'm assuming there is ample shoulder space to pull off for 30 seconds?

Very lightly traveled road. Small shoulder so 30 seconds would be no problem. Zoom in on google maps to see a pedestrian walking view of the sidewalk, shoulder and path entrance.

Ha ha ha. I just had a visual of my DH and son tumbling SAFELY and happily out of the minivan and I drove by really slowly. Something out of a mob movie. I showed my DH the maps so he's comfortable w/ it and he's actually really excited to not have to walk that 10 miles from the ramp to the park. that way I'll have the van for my youngest, my mom and I and we can enjoy our day "off" at the AKV.
