Can I do this??

We are doing the 4 day cruise and will be in Nassau on
Jan 5th. I was planning on booking a room at the Comfort hotel
on Paradise Island and spending the day at Atlantis,

Can we order room service the night befor on the Wonder to have sandwiches and cookies delivered to our stateroom at 8:00am and then just pack them up with us to take for our day at Atlantis?

Has anyone done this, does it work out pretty well?

I don't believe that they'll deliver them at 8:00 am that type of food. I've heard of people ordering the night before and just putting them on ice. Couldn't hurt to call and ask and if they can't just put the sandwiches on ice.

you might want to keep in mind that it is a cooler in your stateroom, not an actual fridge... so it's not meant to keep food from spoiling.. rather to just keep beverages cool.

I would be hesitant to store food in it overnight, even storing it w/ ice.

All items on the Room Service menu are available 24 hours a day. We ordered 3 sandwiches, a cheese tray and cookies at 7am. We put everything in ziplock bags and put them on ice in our cooler along with beverages.

My experience was the same as Relling Twin. I called about 7 am the day we were in Grand Cayman and had sandwich platters there by about 7:30. I told them we were packing them in for our excursion (capt Marvins), and they asked if I wanted them wrapped up. I had brought zip locks so didn't need this, but they do get this request often.

Thanks everyone, thats just what I needed to know.
I will call first thing in the morning and order sandwiches
(not tuna or egg salad)!

I just booked our room at the Comfort hotel so we should be all
set, now if the weather will just be warm!!!

We wanted to look around the place anyway, thinking about
comming back for a week this sping or summer.
