Can I do this?

My husband & I will be at HRH for 5 days later this month. My parents who live in the Orlando area will be joining us but just for the day. I'd like to spend that day with them @ IOA & USF but am leery due to FOTL.

Do they actually require that each individual guest have a card or will one card per couple be okay? If I knew we'd all be able to enjoy the FOTL for the day it would be a no-brainer but I don't want to go & wind up standing in lines. If that's the case we'll just hang @ the pool.

One more question, my parents annual pass has expired so we will be purchasing passes for them if we do IOA/USF. Would I be able to buy 2 tix using the 'losing lottery ticket' promo? I know they'll need to have their Florida ID tp use them. Would I need it to purchase them?

Ooooooooh, the confusion!!!!

When I was there in March there were 3 of us. At some rides only one card was asked for but at some others all the cards were asked to be seen. Give it a try and see what happens.

FOTL = front of the line access. Please click on the link in my signature for more FOTL information.

The Fla Lottery deal is until June 30th. I used it on my trip in May and it worked wonders. For more info Click here

Also you can read my Trip Report about MY experience with those tickets! Part one and part 2.

Hi Lynn

Don't be confused.
You will have two room keys. Give one to your parents. One key per couple is perfectly fine. NO problem with FOTL.

As far as the FL lotto promo...you have to show FL (or GA or AL) ID to purchase and (sometimes) again at the turnstyles when you enter.

Therefore, when your parents arrive, all of you go to the ticket window and they can show their FL ID's. You can hand over the 2 losing scratch off tix (one for each pass)and then pay for the tix (if that is what I understand, that you want to buy them for them) and that's that.

When I purchased our FL lotto tix, the ticket attendant checked my ID, and told me I would have to show my ID when I went through the turnstyles for myself and my two sons (8 and 6)
He wrote "see ID" on the back of all 3 tix. Sometimes the turnstyle attendant would ask to see my drivers license. You and your parents shouldn't have any problems. Have a great time.
