Can I Do This?

I am a picky eater and I love salad. My idea of a great salad is lettuce, cukes & Italian dressing. After looking through menus, I was wondering if can I bring my own non-fat dressing with me? I would not leave it on the table, but rather be descrete and take it out of my bag when the salad comes, add some to the salad, then put it back in my bag.

Do the restaurants have Italian dressing for the salads or is it just what is listed on the menu (like ceasar or vinagrette)?

i'm completely with you on the whole salad thing...just remove the cukes....
but anyway...i have never found a good italian dressing in the world...just the ceaser and the vinagrette (which i don't care for)....
i don't see any harm in it as long as you are not too obvious about it...security generally doesn't have much of a problem with people bringing food stuffs into the park...
go for it...enjoy your meal...i would have tried it myself if i had thought about it...now i have to add a bottle of fat-free italian dressing to my packing list....

I really don't see why not, especially if they don't offer a FF Italian.

Subway offers Kraft Fat Free Italian dressing (or at least here in NW Indiana they do) and they have single serving packets. I always ask for a packet to put on my veggie sandwich and they are very accomodating. These packets would be very easy to transport and would not have to be refrigerated. Just a thought....enjoy your trip and your salad just the way you like it

I did not know they offered those at Subway. Will have to start picking up salads there and stocking up. Thanks for the advice and the answers to my question.

Make sure you put it in a ziplock in case it spills in your bag... that could get messy
