I need to propose a question to all of my Disney experts. I notice that the current WDW Fall promotions for free dining and room discounts coincide with each other. My question is:

I am looking to go Oct. 2014 and will have to purchase two rooms for my family. We would like to stay at POR, but with the cost of two rooms, that would be out of our budget. So, I was thinking that possibly, if WDW offers this same discount for my trip dates in 2014, could I book a room with the full package offering the FDD for myself, husband-Mark, and DD. And then my husband book a separate room only reservation under the name listed on his driver's license, Donald Morris, and get the 20% room-only reservation?

Every trip in the past, I have always booked our reservation and listed him as Mark on the reservations because that is his "called-name". But his name on his driver's license is Donald. And since when you check-in, they never ask for identification of all of the room guests, how would they know he is a part of my reservation.

Let me know if you think that this could not be done, and if not, why possibly not? Of course, we would not check-in at the same time. I would check-in first, get our keys, bracelets, whatever the case..and then he would check in later and ask for a room as close to our room, if possible. At least maybe in the same building.

You could I suppose. I'm not really understanding why you'd need 2 rooms for 3 people or why the people you need the second room for couldn't book it themselves?

My DH would be staying in the second room. One room for my DD and me and the other for DH. We all appreciate our own beds and will need two rooms to have three separate beds, but want DH to be able to obtain the "room only" discount on the second room. Than I will:

**book our room, with DD, DH and myself listed so that I can take advantage of the free DDP promotion. I will list DH as Mark, his called name, on this room ressie.
**My DH will then book the "room only" ressie, for the second room, under his name as listed on his driver's license, Donald.

I know this is confusing, but feel that since I am booking a second room for convenience only, I should still be able to get the "room-only" discount for that room, too.

How old is your daughter? Could you pick a room with a pull out couch or a day bed? You would be able to book a deluxe room and still save some money. Add free-dining or a room discount and you'd be all set. We stayed at the grand floridian that had 2 king beds and a daybed. It was very nice.

You can get a roll away bed at POR, that would give you three beds and be a lot easier and would certainly be less confusing and less money

My DD will be 17yo when we go on our next trip and is 5'4", about 110 lbs. right now. We thought about the Alligator Bayou rooms at POR, but the bed looks pretty short. Didn't want it to be too short or uncomfortable a bed for her there. What do ya'll think? Is that pull out bed big enough to accomodate someone of her height and weight?

Our son who is 6 feet tall, 210 pounds slept like a baby on the daybed at the GF. He said it was much better than his dorm bed at college.
