Can I do this?

I have flights for four of us booked for November. The price went down by $54 per person so I rebooked the same flights and now have the credits on my account. Our DD and DS are graduating from college and hs in June and we are sending them to Disney as a grad gift so I will be able to use the credits.

However, I noticed that as of January the credits can only be used for the person whose name was on the original flight. I want to transfer my credit and my DH's credit to the kids. If I book their flight in December, is there a way to merge the credits to their names?

Probably Southwest, based on the rules the OP provided; and to the OP: probably, as long as Southwest has opened fares for the dates you need before their change goes into effect.

If you book their flights before January, you should be able to use your credits for tickets in their name. As the new schedule will open up through June 5th, and the next schedule release will probably be in December, you shouldn't have a problem.

Sorry, should have mentioned it is Southwest. And this is my worry, I need to book them from 6/5-10 so I hope it opens early enough in Dec. to be able to do this!

Okay, so it still shouldn't be a problem. You apply your and your husband's credits for your kids' outbound trips, and their own credits for the return trips. Voila!
