I would usually book my hotel via the Universal site however now that they don't show the AAA rates I will have to call and reserve.
I want to book a club room at RPR can I book it online then at a later date can I phone and ask them to apply the AAA rate to my booking.
In the past when I booked online they never took the deposit right away .However if I do it over the phone they will. Do you think I can do this or do you think I should just call. I don't really want to have the deposit on credit card right now as I don't have the money to pay for it at the moment.

book your room at www.loewshotels.com . You will be able to add your AAA discount code. They say they will charge a deposit, but they dont.

There is a spot to add your code but it doesnt offer the AAA rate online so it comes back that discount is unavailable for any date you enter. I wish they would straighten out their booking system.

coastergirls, if you dont book it by calling and hope to add the AAA discount later it could be sold out. Its a gamble. When are you going?

I would book your AAA rate through a AAA site or phone in the reservation.

We are going 1st to 3 rd October. I just thought I would book on line not pay the deposit then phone up and have them apply the AAA rate af ew days later.Hopefully getting out of paying the deposit by doing this. I can't book through AAA site as we are Uk . I have a 24 hr hold on PBH but I will phone and cancel and take RPR instead.

Oh OK now I get ya. The problem is when you call and they change the rate to AAA it will more than likely generate a deposit fee at that point. One way of looking at this is, its a forced savings and money paid towards your trip! :thumbsup2 If you cancel, you get it back. I dont know when HHN starts but, if its over your dates the AAA rate will go fast.

I thought if anyone would know it would be you thanks I will just take a chance. Will book via the internet as normal then phone on Monday to change to AAA. If they take a deposit then they take a deposit.
I thought HRH had club deluxe rooms but Lowes tell me they don't. Not they are not available at that time they don't period.
Do you know if they do. Many thanks

Yes, they do have deluxe club level rooms but in the past they are assigned luck of the draw when room assignments are made and you would only find out at check-in. I have personally discussed this with HRH's front desk. I would call the hotel directly if you would like to book one of these rooms. If you only want to request one you must have a club level room booked and have them note a request for a deluxe room on your reservation. Room# 7041and 7099 are deluxes on club level. There are a total of 4 deluxe queen rooms on club level.

That said, when you call the 800 #'s for whatever reason they always say they don't have any deluxe rooms on club level. I suppose this is due to it not being a bookable room.

I hope this helps and you are able to get what you want! :)

I have phoned and as you said they stated I could not book a deluxe room. When I get my email confirmation from them I will email and ask if we can have one of the rooms you gave us designated to us. I will also make sure we are there ultra early and will again ask to have one of these rooms.

Send a really nice email to the hotel and ask if they can reserve one of these for you. I find that the nicer you are, the more likely it is that you will get what you ask for.

Thanks I am going to do this. I will have a search and find the email for HRH and ask very politely if we could have a deluxe queen.
