DD will be 4 by next June. We still plan on using a stroller at WDW due to the size and to help us get around faster (gotta race for those fastpasses!).

We'll be staying on-site for Universal, 2-3 days so will have FOTL passes. Is there any reason we should bring a stroller in? How much walking is there compared to the WDW parks? The only "rush" we should have is to the Pteryadactol (don't laugh at my spelling!) Fliers one morning, right?

We were at Cedar Point a couple weeks ago and dd insisted on walking the whole time. We didn't have any plans so we weren't in a hurry and just went at her pace. I just ended up pushing a stroller full of water bottles all day. :rotfl: If I won't need the stroller at Universal, guess I'll have to find another way of carrying them, eh?

I'd guess you wouldn't need it - we took our 4 year old this june and were staying at the HRH - there were times that he wanted the stroller but to be honest he is quite lazy!!:lmao: Plus we are from the UK so the heat got to him quite badly.

But as you've said that your DD likes to walk - I think distance wise she would be fine - but you're right about WDW (especially epcot and AK - you cover alot of ground even just from the car parks/transport!!):rotfl:

You definately want to do the P Flyers as early as possible since the line gets so long and it's the only attraction that doesn't do Express access.

There is alot of walking, but your on-site and got 3-4 days.I would lean to the no side. They do have a great child swap program also for the big rides.

Its been so long since my kids were that age.But once they find Fieval's play ground you wonn't be doing much walking after:lmao:

We rent the BIG strollers there. I like them in case the kiddos get tired, and it holds all my stuff.

My youngest DS turned 5 right before we went to Disney/US this July
and we didn't rent strollers, the cost is ridiculous
and he did great, even with the heat. Didn't complain once

I would try it, maybe she'll surprise you :)

Another poster here who thinks it's worth bringing it to carry the stuff. Purse, camera, waters, snacks. I definitely appreciate somewhere to hang it all.

Just got back from a week at universal yesterday. We have 3 kids ages 3,4,6 and we needed a double stroller. Maybe it was the heat but they just poop out and even if you walk slow universal has a lot of ground and no fast way to the back (jurrasic park) except walking (a bridge across the middle would be nice). I would rather puch an empty stoller with water and snacks than carry a tired child from the back of IOA.

My parents rented out the stroller at Universal for my Step-sister (5). Mainly because she is lazy and not used to the heat as we are from the rainy and cold UK.

Make sure you get to IOA early in the day and do flyers in the morning. It can well reach over a 2 hour wait.

Last time my son was in a stoller he was 2 years old and now he is 6. Never had a problem with him except when trying to see things in line so I will just pick him up to see..

How much is the cost for the stroller. We have a 5 year old that tires easily so we're only going to be a Univeral Studios for 1 day but it seems like a lot to cover. THanks
