Can i check into BWI while also at GF?

Hello. I am booked at the GF for 5 nights at the end of this month. I am considering reserving one night (at the AP rate) at the BWI for one night and trying it out - the resort and the area - for the very first time.
If I can get the good rate for a standard room there I will do it. My ? is, will this be "OK"? I assume Disney will be perfectly happy to take my $$ but I'm concerned about housekeeping/turndown thinking something is amiss...do I need to let the front desk at GF know of my plans? We will just take backpacks with overnight clothes and then retn. to GF the following day...This will be easier than checking out, moving bags, etc. and we want to end up back at the GF...

I don't think they would notice, especially if your stuff is there. Many people arrive back late in their rooms and go out early in the morning before housekeeping comes.

Why don't you just make the Boardwalk night at the beginning or end of your stay and not pay for GF that night? Disney will move your luggage to the new hotel.
