Can I check in early at the DLP hotels?

I know I ask a lot of questions!

I have the Santa Fe booked for two nights, but I might need to check in at around 8:00 am. The night before I might be at a non-Disney hotel in the area. I know the WDW hotels let you check in early and then the bellhop holds your bags. Can I do the same at the Santa Fe? If not, do the parks have a place to stow your bags? I'm not lugging my luggage onto Space Mountain!
