Can I check-in at WDW

Do you have to be on a Land/Sea Package to do this ??

We will be checking into the Yacht Club, room only, before our cruise and I wondered if we can check in there for the cruise or do we have to be on a package?

Not 100% certain, but I think you have to be on the Land/Sea package to check in anywhere other than the port.

Not sure either, but I am pretty sure that the CM at the DCL check in desk is on a rotating schedule and goes from hotel to hotel for a certain amount of time.....we kept missing each other during our land days and eventually caught up with her on our departure day.

Anyway - just in case they do check you in, I would call the hotel and ask for the CM's schedule to make sure s/he is there when you are!

We booked our lodging separately also. When I called the Animal Kingdom Lodge directly they told me that I could not check in for the cruise but now that I think about it I believe that someone from Dreams said that you should be able to. I originally had asked them for a quote and I think the person told me to check in as soon as possible for the cruise. Probably confused you even more as now I am. I'm going to ask when we check in at AKL just in case you can check in for cruise there.
