Can I change the name on a reservation?

I booked a king room for grandma for our upcoming tripusing the BAT code, but, now she may not be coming. The thing is.. I booked the room under her name. I made the reservation and I paid for it. I want to keep that king room, Can I change the name on the reservation?

My reservation confirmation said was valid only for the person whose name is on the reservation (not the exact words). Did you get a discount? If not, you could just rebook the room and get a refund.
