Can I change state room on Disney Cruise Line website?

Hi All,
I just booked a cruise using our placeholder. They told me the state room I wanted wasn't available. When looking at my reservation I see that the state room I had wanted it still available. Can I modify my reservation online or do I have to call Disney Cruise Line back and have them change it because of the placeholder and discount?

Several years ago, you were able to do this. That was not the case recently, but I have not looked since the update.

Do you see anything on the reservation page that says "Change" or "Modify"? If not, you will need to call.

I was able to make room swaps online a couple of months ago but they were in the same stateroom category so that may have been a factor. I'm hoping the system update is a substantial overhaul because there are many bugs/issues with the current one.

Yes looking at my online reservation it gives me the option to Modify my reservation.

I will report back and let you know what happens. That being said they have us in an AFT room on deck 10. Would you rather have an AFT room on deck 9 or 6? We want an extended veranda.

Is this on the Dream or Fantasy? We like deck six and have sailed in 6688 on both ships, but some people do not like the noise from the flag. So deck 9 might be a better choice if that is a concern.
