Can I change sail dates before PIF?

Hi.. I just paid the deposit for a cruise in Nov this year.. however still in the fence in wherther we should or not depending on any possible changes in the onboard experience...

Can I change the sailing to say Nov 2021 before the PIF (July/20)? Do the penalty fees apply?

Can I still cancel it and get the deposit back before the PIF date?

If you switch your cruise before the PIF date, all monies applied to the original cruise can be moved. One note - the cost of the new cruise will be the prevailing cost, not the cost the cruise was on the day you made the original reservation.

If you cancel before the PIF date, you get all your monies paid back.

DISCLAIMER: If you're booked in a Concierge room or suite, the deposit is non-refundable. But, in most cases, DCL will allow a non-refundable deposit to be moved to a different cruise. Also, if you move a non-refundable deposit to a regular room (no longer Concierge or a suite), the deposit remains non-refundable.

Yes, you can change the sailing/move your money to a November 2021 cruise, IF they release the November 2021 cruise dates before your PIF. They're normally out by now, but with the Pandemic, they haven't released cruise dates beyond September 2021.
