If we determine we will be pressed for time, can I change an ADR to a later time on the same day? I have a 2pm ADR at Via Napoli on a Sunday. If I decide about an hour before that we would like 3pm better (if it's available) can I change it? How close to the ADR time can it be changed?

I'd like to do the 1:00 tea tour at United Kingdom on that day, but you can only sign up on the same day, so I'm not sure if we will be able to do that time. If we can, it may make it difficult to get to our ADR.

We have changed our reservations on the same day, but we talked to someone first and made sure that we would not be charged. We let a Disney employee change it for us. If you see that you need to change it, I would talk to someone first. If they are able to fit you in later.

I have found it depends on the restaurant. I have been able to change an ADR on the same day via MDE but it was generally several hours prior to the original ADR time. I do think there are a few restaurants that require you to call if you need to modify day of/within a few hours of ADR. We haven't been to Via Napoli so I am not sure what their policy is. If you think you might need to push it back I would try to do it as early as possible.

It really depends on the restaurant. Sometimes we have been able to change using the MDE app. Other times we have had to call the restaurants. Some times the restaurant is full and we could not change our ADRs.

I changed mine in the MK lat year, but went to the restaurant to change it. We had an 8:30 breakfast that lasted until 10 and a 1pm lunch. We were still full, so we arrived and asked if it was possible to change to 3:30. She said no problem. While we were there, I went on the app and changed our dinner (Yachtsman Steakhouse) from 7:30 to 9:30. It was our last day, so got to sleep in a bit later the next morning. We normally dont plan 3 meals, but my nieces were dancing in the 3pm parade and to get VIP viewing, we had to book a meal at Tonys.

These are not tremendously popular restaurants, like Via Napoli, so we were lucky. I think if its available, it shouldnt be a problem.
