can i carry on a full sized suitcase??

i need to carry on a regular sized ( mickey comics from disney ) will DCL let me??

I have carried on my luggage before (all of it) we were on a 3 night cruise and only had one (standard size) suitcase and one carry on. We had no issues with bringin it on...other than having to lug it around ourselves.

It does have to fit through a scanner however. We were not told this for our first cruise and ended up having to shove the thing through. If it's big, go ahead and use a porter.

Anything carried on must be able to fit through an airline size screener machine.....same process as the airlines....you must remove things that will set off the buzzer, put some of your stuff in bins, etc.

This security step is new since 9/11. Anyone who cruised before 9/11 was pretty much able to lug their larger suitcases onboard.

If you don't mind my asking...why would you want to drag your full size suitcase onboard with you? Could you possibly pack what you need to keep with you in a smaller bag and let the porters handle the rest...not judging...just curious!!!

Luggage gets to your stateroom by 6:00 pm the latest and ususally starts showing up in dribs and drabs during the afternoon. Not all your luggage will show up at the exact same time.

lol, if i were a cat i would have gone through my 9 lives along time ago

we are going on the halloween cruise. my DH and i are doing a TOT with other disers, and well...... we got alittle (alot) carried away with the treat bags. we are doing our TOT thing before 6:00 and i didnt want to tell everyone that they will just have to come back after i get my suitecase!!

If there is chocolate involved say no more......I see your need to carry on......wish I was the Halloween cruise and could TOT!!!!
