Can I cancel ddp added for next month?

We almost never do a DDP anymore, but it appears to work for our trip next month. Now I am probably going to cancel an expensive character meal and I can not get an ADR at another. Is the DDP refundable, and up until when? Trip is 29 days away.

Yes, you can cancel a DDP. Just call MS. Not sure how long the refund takes, but I'm sure it will be a lot longer than it took to charge your card initially.

You should check with MS on the latest you can cancel to be sure. They are open now. I think you can cancel up to 48 hours in advance, but personally, I'd cancel as soon as you are sure you no longer want it. That way the refund will come back sooner.

Yes, as CarolMN said, MS will refund your money if you cancel the DDP.

We have a trip coming up in April and plan to add the DDP (while DD is still 9!). However, I'm going to wait until a week or so before to make sure we are certain we want it. That way we don't have to worry about cancelling and waiting for DVC to process a refund.
