Can I call CRO to get "come-back" rate while staying at DVC resorts?

Sorry, I have another question. I have been spending too much time on this Board lately.

Mousesavers mentioned about the come-back rate that people can get, 40% off the rack rate, while you are staying at WDW resorts. You can call CRO and give them a code to book this.

Does anyone know if we can get this type of discounts while using points to stay at DVC resorts?

If so, I would love to book several nights for next Xmas, also, does anyone if I can book 3 rooms at least?

Are you paying cash through CRO for your DVC stay? If so, then probably you can get the discount. If you're staying on poiints rented from a member, or are using your own points, I would guess NO since CRO/WDTC had nothing to do with the original ressie.

The only requirements that I saw was that you have to call from a Disney resort, stay a minimum of three nights and put a deposit down before you leave.

I was hoping that I can get the come-back rate, especially for 12/25 for 3 nights since there were no discounts this past year for those date.

Yes, there were discount rates for 12/25. It was the last day for the discounts. We got the discount rate because we stayed at BC from 12/25 to 1/3 and got a room for $198 per night. Since we checked in 12/25 we got the discount for the entire stay. I think it was a promotion called "Bring back the Magic" or something like that. I found it on disney's web site, and called CRO to book it. I could have gotten the rate at either Yacht or Beach, Boardwalk, and I think it also included Wilderness Lodge and Contemporary.

Thanks for the info, I have to see what type of moderate rates they offer. I hope they will still offer these this year.

$198 a night for 3 nights for 3 rooms before moving to BWV for me, cashwise, is too much (approx. $2000 for 3 nights) for me to shell out (it is purely my side of the family, my hubby will not be happy to see this just on the room plus all the points that I will use for another 6 nights at BWV, 2 2 bedrooms), I am sure there will be a lot of spending on food and everything else. I have to keep this a low profile for now.
