If I purchase the pass that is good for 7 seven consecutive days at Universal/IOA online does it have an experation date? I can't find any information on that. We are going in Sept. but would like to buy the tickets now.

Thanks.

No they don't have an experation date on them the only thing they say is they expire 6 days after the first day used and I would go ahead and get them cause like it says the offer could expire at anytime.
We are going in July and I have already bought ours.
Hope this help:thumbsup2

okay this sounds crazy but i am an APH but i need tickets for my kids on the website they have 2 different types of tickets which are 10.00 in price difference. On the 2 day advance purchase i am buying them now but picking them up on March 12 so does this qualify or are they going to say cant use them till March 14???? I will pay the extra 10.00 per ticket to avoid the fuss.LOL

According to the way I understand it cause I read it a few times and unless I am wrong and someone else will correct me thats what it means that if you use two day advance then when you pick them up they are not vaild until for two days so you would be right if you picked them up march 12 th then they couldn't be used until march 14th.
Hope this helps:thumbsup2

thanks that is what it sounds like to me as well.LOL\

think i will place an order with undercover tourist to get real tickets in hand.
less hassle=happy kids:thumbsup2
You can always purchase the tickets online and pick them up there at the electronic ticketing windows. You will get the real tickets and you won't have to worry about losing them in the mean time. You will need the credit card you purchased them with and the confirmation number.

Here is the ticketing kiosk at IOA:

To use you AP to buy tickets at a discount...

Can it be done online or only in person?

You can't use the AP to buy the 7 day/$86 passes to get any more discount.

I think you can purchase one day tickets and two days tickets both online and in person though to get your AP discount.

Advance purchase means you need the ticket in 2 days are more. Say if you were purchasing on Feb. 17 and you need the tickets on Feb 18, you would couldn't use the advance purchase. It essentially speeds up your order. Normally it takes 48 hours (2 days) to process an order for pickup. If you don't have 48 hours, then you choose the immediate ticket offer. If you buy them now and won't pick up until March 12, then you don't need to pay the extra charge for immediate pickup. Just choose advance purchase.

You can use either type tickets immediately after you pick them up though, whether they were immediate pick up or advance purchase.

Damo is correct, you don't get an AP discount with those tickets.

Edited to add: Some people wait until they are at the park or at the onsite hotel and then order these tickets online to be picked up immediately. These tickets have to be expedited. So they charged an extra purchase fee. I hope that makes sense.

okay it does make sense.lol.i have never seen that electronic thing,i went to the gs window, waited in line for like 15 minutes just to be told NO i cannot exchange my paper ticket for a real one because that "is my ticket" i printed at home.

Ughhhhhhhh.lol. so i guess i choose electronic pickup then find this machine & swipe my credit card & it gives me a real ticket? cool this is all we want is an actual ticket for him.

Yes, if you want a real ticket, use the kiosk and electronic pickup. It is a breeze. The alternative is printing out several copies of the print at home version so you have them if one gets destroyed.

Thanks Phamton and Damo I was getting:confused3 about that myself and glad someone could clear it up and thats why I picked the electronic pick up this year:thumbsup2
