Can I bring snacks on the plane?

I know no drinks - but what about dry snacks for the kids - like Goldfish and Cereal?

you can bring drinks(or anything liquid over the 3-1-1) on as long as they are purchased after security. you can bring snacks on.
 
This was my "snack" bag for DD and I last week....it was our lunch ;)
cheese sandwich, goldfish, apple, grapes, pbj sandwich

we split a water bottle that I bought at the airport . All the food was in a ziplock bag in my carry on, which went thru the security scanner. TSA did not question it, nothing. However, this was the first trip that I had been subject ot a random pat down search at the boarding gat AFTER security, so maybe I packed too much food and it raised a flag!;)
 
Sure you can, as long as you have nothing liquid, gel or paste. I had a whole half loaf of Emeril's cornbread on the plane home from Vegas. I have also brought cheese onboard.
 

Snacks on a plane? Sure.

But be careful - Samuel L Jackson made a movie about it and things didn't go so well. (Be especially careful in the bathrooms!)

I was thinking of packing a box of cereal in each of the kids' backpacks - so they can snack on it and eat it for breakfast in the World. My kids are super picky, so I thought we'd just bring it from home.

I know that is weird - but I'm sure security has seen weirder? :upsidedow
