Can I book DME if I am making a last minute Resort reservation (5 days?)

Hi all
I am thinking of a quick overnight at Pop on Dec 21, since I have an early morning flight from MCO, to see the Osborne lights. If I make a reservation today, can I still book DME back to the airport? I'm considering dropping my car off at Dolphin and taking DME back to MCO the next morning, since I am sure it will be busy!
