My kitty,Dumbo,is 12 years old. He's never had any health problems before. We noticed yesterday that he was limping and isn't using his front left leg when walking.
On his paw there is a little scratch, but he uses it fine to clean/lick himself. No wincing at all.
When he even takes the slightest step he winces.

Can you spare some pixie dust please?
He's been my kitty since I was 2,and he's really the only pet I've ever known. It kills me to see him hurt.
And if anyone's cat has gone through this, how did they heal?

I'm just not having good luck with my pets. My other cat Cocoa ran away a couple weeks ago. We let him out to use the bathroom (they're fussy about the litterbox and are indoor outdoor cats) and he never came back. My dog Princess is about 11 years old and she's getting old. Very frail, and has trouble going up and down stairs. And to make matters worse, taking them to the VET is not a financial option right now. We're getting by but there's really no money for anything extra. Okay, whine over. I promise.

Aww honey I'm sorry!
My kitty almost died cause he ate dental floss, but we had to pay an extensive amout of money for his surgery to get the damn floss out of his wherever it was.

aww :( Our cat's very old (about 16/17?) so has troubles walking. She's also blind in one eye (has been since birth...) but I don't think she's had much trouble.

hope she gets better, and I hope your other cat is found :)

   I hope that he gets better! I hate seeing animals in pain. It makes me sad.

if it makes you feel any better, one of my cats has issues. she bit stitches once and organs came out...then last spring she got outside, climbed under our van into the engine--we drove to church and she was in it all the way. she nearly died

what im saying is that dont give up hope and that youre not the only one who has bad luck with animals.

Oh my gosh!
I hope your other kitty comes back, and they feel better.

That's bad. I don't have any pets but consider myself an animal person. Hope everything is alright.

Ducky, how the hell did your cat get its paws on floss?

My cat being the retard it is likes to dig through the garbage. So he was in my parents bathroom and saw string in the little garbage can and his reaction was "STRIIIIING..MUST EAT IT!!"
I swear, he eats my hair ties too.
If you're not careful he'll eat ribbons off presents too.

Sounds like my aunt's dog that died about 5 years ago.

The reason: Digestive problems from eating socks :p

Lot's of pixie dust for your cat, I have two cats, and they mean so much to me, and I wouldn't want to lose them either!
