Simple question, I hope. Can I add the dining plan to our stay when we check in? We are staying at the BWV through rented points from a vacation club member. I know DVC member can add it onto our reservation for us now, but I was wondering if we could just do it ourselves upon check in.

Thanks!

No. DDP must be added in advance of your arrival. You must contact the owner from whom you're renting and have them call member services and add the dining plan to your reservation. You will, however, pay for it upon arrival rather than in advance.

It has to be added before you get there. I believe 5 days before. Only the DVC member can make any changes, additions to the DVC reservation. It's simple for the member to just call and add it to your ressie now. You do get to pay for it at check in.

I knew you guys would have a speedy answer! Now I just need to decide if I want to bug the owner again to add the dining plan. With 3 boys, it might be worth it, although in reality it's too much food for us. We don't normally eat appetizers and desserts. Time for a little math....

Thanks!:)

i am a DVC member, i just called about this today and was told adults cost 38.99 per adult per day and child 3-9 are 10.99 a day.
i would call your dvc member and ask them to add this for you, i am sure you wont be bothering them! i have never tried the plan but we are going to this april !

Keep in mind that you don't have to eat all the food :) Even if you aren't big on apps and desserts, you can get a salad for your app, fruit for your dessert, etc. Or just do without. For kids especially, the plan is such a great bargain that it's worthwhile even if you don't eat all the food.

Anyone know the cost for adults and children per day through DVC?

Same as everyone else - $38.99 per adult age ten and above, $10.99 per child three to nine, UNDER three can share with others at table service restaurants at no cost, and can eat at buffets at no cost, however if food is ordered for that child at a TS restaurant, it must be paid for (hey bicker, how'd I do?)

dont forget no need for any park tickets with dvc to get ddp
