Can Husband and Wife use rainforest together?

I was just wondering if we can both be in the tropical rainforest at the same time. I assume you wear your bathing suit? What does the $30.00 pass include?

Yes, the rainforest is unisex. People wear bathing suits. When you check in at the spa desk, you are given a locker key, a robe and slippers. (The lockers are not unisex.) We LOVE the rainforest room!

I believe the cost is $15 a day, $8 if you have a same-day hands-on treatment (like a massage). There are also multi-day passes available, costs determined by length of cruise.

Just to add to what DizMare said....there are actually multiple people in the Rainforest at the same time. I've seen up to 10 people at one time.

At times it gets pretty crowded, but the only things you might have to wait for are a shower or the smaller steam room (the one my hubby loves). There are only 4 heated tile loungers, but the mild sauna is a great alternative to those.

I just had a flash of what would happen in the event of someone "misunderstanding" the unisex, bathing suit-wearing nature of the Rainforest......wonder if that has ever happened and DCL temporarily turned into a "nudist" cruise!? LOL!!! Can you see the CM coming in to explain that one to a guest?.......

It HAS happened, and I was a witness! This was a few cruises back, and I was in a heated tile lounger, with a few other people scattered among the steam rooms and saunas. A lady came in, buck naked except for a towel. After looking in the rooms and seeing people of both sexes, she asked me if it was a co-ed area. I said "Yes," expecting that she'd go back to her stateroom for a swimsuit, but she just spread some towels and settled down au naturale (the towels did cover most of the important parts). And she wasn't even European!

For $15 a day I think the Rainforest is one of the best bargins on the ship! As mentioned previously, it includes several very relaxing warm tile lounge chairs surrounding a water fountain. I believe 3 steam rooms with scented aromas. Showers w/dispensers of Rain, Tropical, Peppermint scents. The entire experience is not to be missed as it relaxes the mind and body.
