Can holding points be transfered?

Looking through the vacation planner I see the following rules:

1. banked and borrowed points cannot be transferred.
2. holding points cannot be banked or borrowed.
3. holding points expire at the end of the current use year.
4. holding points can only be used to make ressies 60 days or less before arrival

But I see no specific restrictions against transfers, anyone know?

I think this has come up before and my understanding is that holding points can be transfered as long as they are not themselves previously banked or borrowed points.

Transferred points may only be Current UY points. But, I do believe I remember ~hearing~ MS will allow Holding Points to be transferred and if so, the points do still remain Holding Points when transferred over to other member. I think it can be done as drusba noted - the Holding Points must be current UY allotment points.
