We have friends in the area and are wondering if they would be able to come to the hotel (HRH) to visit with us? Could we bring them up to our room? what about using the pool?

let me clarify...they would not be staying the night. just coming by maybe for a few hours during the day

The hotels are onsite, but not in the parks so you can do whatever you would do at any other hotel. I guess they could use the pool if someone is there with a room key. Not sure about parking.

They will be charged the $20 parking fee at the hotel, good idea to ask at reception as i know others have had day visitors.

to get towels at the pools, you have to show your hotel room key.

many park guests not staying on site do come to the hotels to check them out, catch a meal, or just explore the building.
to avoid non guests using the pool and facilities is why the room key is to be shown.

i have not had friends come to the pool with me while staying onsite.
i don't have an answer for you. sorry.

you should probably call the hotel directly to get the correct info about guests using the pools.

i know many guests will have friends visit them at the hotel and do dinner on occassions.

the only thing the day guest has to do is pay the parking fee.

thanks for the info, I think our friends plan on going to the park with us 1 day, so we are thinking that while we "take a break from the park" in the afternoon, that they could come back to the hotel with us and possibly go by the pool. As long as it's ok for them to at least relax for a while with us, I guess we could play it by ear if they could use the pool with us or not.

Last June we had friends meet us at Margaritaville while we were guests at HRH. After dinner we all came back to the resort and went swimming. No problems, no questions. A couple of years before that we visited friends at RPR and went swimming with them, no problems and no questions asked. Don't see why it would be a problem, we never even considered that it might have been a problem.
