Can DVc Members Get A 10% discount At the Disney Store

I asked in our local Disney Store last weekend if Vacation Club members were eligible for any discounts. The cashier looked at me as though I had sprouted another head right then and there. I took that as a "No".

I got the same look when we first joined and asked at our local store. I do not even think the CM knew what DVC was. She did not even have to answer just the deer in the headlight look said it all.

the only place I am aware of that you can take advantage of the DVC disc. is at the Disney Store @ DTD in the Marketplace district.

Once upon a time the answer was yes. Then the stores were sold to Children's Place and the answer became no. Now they have been bought back but I don't know if the discount has been reinstated.

You can get a DVC discount on disneyshopping.com Go to the member site & under Member Perks/At Home Perks you will find info on what the current promo may be.

That's World of Disney, not connected to The Disney Store. I don't think you can get the discount there with DVC, it's not on the list of member perks. I know you can get an AP discount there.

World of Disney you can NOT get a DVC discount when shopping there. I was there back in February and asked and I got the same deer in headlights look.
