Can DVC AP's be purchased as part of a Disney resort package?

If we purchase a package and have to buy a ticket..can we add AP's but get the dvc discount??? Anyone know??

I don't believe so. What you can do is buy the one-day ticket as part of the package and then use that ticket to apply towards a DVC AP.

AFAIK, you can only add MYW tickets to a package. You could then upgrade that MYW ticket to an AP after arriving at WDW.

AP's cannot be part of a room package, they are separate.

Yes, you can upgrade a MYW ticket from a package to a DVC AP. Just take it to any Guest Relations window with your photo ID and DVC member card.
